Life’s Realities

A couple of years ago, I witnessed a scene that left many questions on my mind. I was walking down the blocks on my way back to the office after lunch. My mind seemed to drift as I allowed myself to enjoy the quiet walk. Suddenly, my eyes caught sight of this obvious energetic man walking a few feet ahead of me. This man looked every inch like any other right thinking functional man on the street but on second thought, I was not sure that was the case. I watched as the little drama played right before my eyes. I walked faster until I was almost shoulder-to-shoulder with him. All of a sudden, this man pulled out his pockets, which were obviously empty, threw his arm in the air and started talking to himself and gesticulating at the same time. I wondered what had hit this man but I might not have been far from the truth if I assumed that this man was freshly losing his grip with the reality that had hit him.

Keep At It!

I learnt a very fundamental principle in life a few years ago that has helped me in my dealings. Your ability to stick with “it” until you see “it” come to fruition is the principle you must keep in perspective. A few years ago, my husband started his own telecommunication business. The business blue print was impressive and he told me how wonderful everything was going to be. Many months passed but the business outcome was a total contrast from what the blue print captured. I wondered why it was taking a long time for this business to blossom but he said to me, “Lami, I know what I have been called to do as far as this business is concerned. If I quit now, I will never have a deposit of victory”. I was happy for him but I was also concerned about the pace of the business. “Why don’t you just forget this business story and pick up a regular collar job,” I said. I became the pressure point on the issue but he simply refused to give in. He had a conviction in his spirit and was persuaded that what he began was what he had to do at that point in his life. Giving up was not in the agenda at all. He stuck to his plan and kept working at it. Day in day out he took steps towards actualizing his dream. Before long, he began to see the results he wanted. The entire business was completely revolutionized by the power of the Holy Ghost. You just know when it is the power of God at work in your life and you are not about to quit because you have become persuaded on the inside.
In The Heat Of The Moment

It is of uttermost importance you realize that sometimes no matter how saved and sanctified you are, no matter what tongue talking child of God you are, you will be confronted with giants on the way as you step out to live your life to fullest. Does that make you any less a spiritual, faith-filled person? No. it absolutely does not. This is the point where you rise up on the inside and live what you believe. You know that you have overcome the world. You know that you are more than a conqueror. You know that eyes have not seen what you are about to fulfill through the anointed one and his anointing that is upon your life. Therefore, pull out from within you the confidence and divine enablement stored up in your spirit by speaking words of faith and power. When pressures suddenly spring up on you as you journey to fulfilling your destiny, realize that your faith is the victory, anchor and passport to a great future.

Releasing Your Potentials Is All About Determination

Determination …I am going for it.
Determination …I am doing it.
Determination …There is no stopping me.
Determination …No matter how long it takes.
Determination …Come rain or sunshine.
Determination … I have made up my mind.

It is About Divine Inspiration

Where your dreams, visions and goals are concerned, you need the wisdom of God to travel with you in that journey. As long as your dreams are divinely orchestrated, the wisdom of God will be your rearguard. You may not see clearly how it is all going to end but be confident that as long as the wisdom of God is directing you, you cannot go wrong. I have seen people who released themselves completely to God’s wisdom and became what men could not ordinarily fathom with their natural mind. Unfolding your dreams will catapult you to many levels of success. If you walk in obedience and keep the wisdom of God in perspective, you will indeed spend your days in prosperity and your years in pleasure. It is as simple as that.

Cream Your Dream

The potential embedded in your spirit is your dream of greatness. The reason why we have many unhappy people moving the face of the earth is that they have lost their dreams. When you lose your dream, you really have nothing to live for and it will not be long before you resign on the inside. Once that happens, it is a gradual descent in life and eventually you give up completely. If you have a dream, hold on to that dream and watch to see it come to life right before your eyes.

Dont Stop Dreaming

You might not know when, you might not know how but believe that your dreams of greatness will come to fruition. Ezekiel 12:22-24 reveals how God’s people stopped dreaming.
"Son of man, what is this proverb you have in the land of Israel: 'The days go by and every vision comes to nothing'? Say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am going to put an end to this proverb, and they will no longer quote it in Israel.' Say to them, 'The days are near when every vision will be fulfilled. For there will be no more false visions or flattering divinations among the people of Israel,” Ezekiel 12:22-24 (NIV)

Potentials... The Door to Your Wealth

Wealth! What a word. So true and yet so complicated in the lives of those who have a problem with the whole idea of wealth. As children of God, it is "wisdom ways" that we understand kingdom perspective to wealth and abundance. Many people have issues with the idea of wealth because the god of this world has blinded their eyes from the truth. They think that the absence of material affluence will keep you humble. Unfortunately, being broke and distressingly poor does not make one humble. If anything at all, the absence thereof makes people miserable and pitiful. What kind of life is it where one is unable to put food on the table, take care of the family’s necessities and pay bills, which is about the least financial obligations in the life of an individual. What kind of life is it where one does not know when or where the next meal is coming from? If you decide to live a pitiful poor life because you think that will keep you humble and more sanctified, then you have got it all wrong and mixed up. However, as long as you know the purpose for which the wealth is, there is absolutely nothing wrong walking in abundance. Moreover, it is God's desire for you to live in abundance. Look at this;
"The wealth of the rich is their fortified city, but poverty is the ruin of the poor," Proverb 10:15(NIV).

Implication of Being Double Minded

Any man who is consistently filled with indecision is a dangerous man to himself. When you cannot seem to make up your mind and stick with the decision necessary for the moment then you are going out of the “right flame of life”. Many times, indecisions are caused by double mindedness. We see clearly, what the scripture says about the double-minded man in the book of James.
